Cinq années ont passé depuis le Fléau et nous ne savons toujours que peu de choses sur les incroyables changements qui ont eu lieu suite à cette catastrophe. Les étranges formations des atolls de sel en sont un exemple. Comment ces colonnes sont-elles apparues ? Continuent-elles à se développer ? Représentent-elles une menace ? Pour mieux comprendre ces phénomènes, j'étudie l'équilibre élémentaire des environs. Pour ce faire, j'ai besoin d'échan­til­lons d'eau pour en mesurer la teneur en sel et autres minéraux.

It has been five summers since the Calamity, and still yet little is known of the fantastical change wrought upon the land by the unleashing of Bahamut's aether. The queer formations off the Salt Strand are a prime example. How were these pillars formed? Do they continue to grow? Do they pose a threat? To better understand the phenomena, I am studying the elemental balance in the area, and to do so, require samples of water so that I may measure levels of salt and other minerals.

霊災により周辺の土属性の力が弱まった結果、ソルトストランドが形成されるなど環境変化が起こった。この変化の現状を調べるため、定期的に採水し塩分の測定を行っている。指定地点に赴き、塩分濃度を測定してくれ。
