Avec l'aide de la guilde des alchimistes, Les Bons filons d'Amajina et Fils ont découvert une nouvelle méthode d'extraction des petites traces de métal dans les minerais contenant de grandes quantités d'impuretés. Celle-ci nécessite de gaver de minerai des coblyns, puis d'attendre qu'ils digèrent les impuretés. Une fois les impuretés expulsées, il n'y a plus qu'à envoyer le coblyn à la forge pour le fondre. Le seul inconvénient, c'est que l'on perd le coblyn au cours du processus. Les Bons filons d'Amajina et Fils cherchent donc des aventuriers pour capturer des coblyns vivants. Il y a bien évidemment une récompense à la clef.

With assistance from the Alchemists' Guild, Amajina & Sons have discovered a new method of extracting the small traces of metal from low-grade ore containing high quantities of impurities. This method requires feeding coblyns ore and then waiting for the creatures' bodies to pass the impurities. Once the impurities have left its body, the coblyn is thrown into a forge where the body is burned away, leaving only pure metal─the only drawback being the coblyn is lost in the process. And thus, the Mineral Concern is seeking adventurers to pacify and capture living coblyns, and will pay for each one delivered.

Mit der Kobalos-Kau-Methode lassen sich auch aus minderwertigen Erzen noch die letzten Metallspuren extrahieren. Dafür wird das Erz an Kobalosse verfüttert, die das Erz gründlich durchkauen. Dann werden die Kobalosse in einem Hochofen auf 6000 Grad erhitzt und das Metall extrahiert. Allerdings ist für diesen Prozess ein ständiger Nachschub an Kolabossen erforderlich.
