Le Courtil a passé les cinq dernières années à répandre du compost dans la Sylve des Douze pour enrichir le sol laissé stérile par le feu du dragon. Chaque jour, des botanistes s'aventurent dans la forêt pour y effectuer cette tâche. La plupart sont ignorés par les créatures des bois, mais il n'est pas rare qu'un groupe soit victime d'attaques. En cas de danger, les botanistes ont pour ordre d'abandonner ce qu'ils font pour rejoindre la guilde au plus vite. Même si cela épargne des vies, une grande quantité de compost se retrouve ainsi à pourrir sur le terrain. Le Courtil recherche donc des aventuriers afin de récupérer ces sacs abandonnés dans la forêt.

The Greatloam Growery has spent the last five summers spreading compost about the Twelveswood in an effort to re-enrich soil which was left barren and tainted by fiends. Botanist parties journey into the forest daily to conduct this task; and while most are left unmolested by the woodland creatures, it is not uncommon for a party to become the victim of an attack. In these situations, the botanists are trained to literally drop what they are doing and Return to the guild. While this saves lives, it leaves a great deal of valuable compost to rot in the field, which is why the Growery seeks to hire adventurers who will travel into the forest and recover the abandoned sacks.

Wenn sie in kleinen Gruppen durchs Unterholz stapfen, kommt es ab und zu vor, dass sie von Monstern angegriffen werden. In solchen Fällen sind sie angewiesen, alles fallenzulassen und um ihr Leben zu rennen. Nun ist wieder eine Gruppe mit heiler Haut davongekommen, doch irgendjemand muss die zurück­gelassenen Düngersäcke einsammeln.
