Privés de leurs proies habituelles, les loups poursuivent désormais les routes des caravanes du Coerthas pour s'en prendre aux voyageurs et aux marchands. Une amulette constituée d'un croc de loup est censée protéger son porteur. On peut trouver ça logique. Les morts auraient du mal à récupérer ces crocs sur un loup pour les vendre comme amulettes.

Deprived of their regular prey, wolves now stalk the caravan routes of Coerthas to ambush travelers and traders. An amulet of wolf fangs is said to protect its wearer, and there is a certain logic in it. The dead can hardly collect these fangs from a wolf and sell them as amulets.

In Coerthas Schneefeldern herumstreunende Wölfe werden zu einem immer größeren Problem. Die Leute besinnen sich deshalb wieder auf altes Brauchtum, nämlich das Tragen von aus Wolfszähnen gemachten Halsbändern. Man erzählt sich, dass es vor Wolfsübergriffen schützt.

クルザス地方では、雪原を徘徊する獰猛なウルフが問題になっている。そんなウルフから身を守るため、ウルフの牙を使った宝飾品を身に着ける風習がある。お守りとして売るための「ウルフファングネックレス」を頼む。
