C'est au cours de pérégrinations à Grand-Lac que j'ai découvert cet endroit offrant une vue splendide sur un fantastique paysage. Sa beauté était telle que j'ai ressenti la nécessité de le partager.

Ce village de pêcheurs bâti au bord du lac de L'Origine a été appelé ainsi par ses habitants parce qu'ils aiment se dire, non sans humour, maussades. Il est relié par un réseau de ponts aux îles d'Ivraie, de Briquetière, d'Embossée et d'Écumante, lesquelles le constituent.

In my wanderings through Lakeland, I found myself pausing in wide-eyed wonder as I looked out upon the view before me. I knew that I must capture this sight in ink, lest others simply pass it by.

Weed, Brick, Knot, and Lap─the fishing village of Sullen sprawls across these four small islands, its bridges connecting each location to the next, and thence to the shore of the Source itself. The settlement's name, it seems, was agreed upon as a self-deprecating nod to the oft-creased brows of its resident fishermen.

Bei der Erkundung des Seenlands gelangte ich an einen spektakulären Aussichtspunkt. Und was ich erblickte, wird die Barden bis ans Ende aller Tage inspirieren zu Liedern und Weisen.

Dieses Fischerdorf am Ufer des Quellsees wurde von seinen Bewohnern so genannt, weil sie selbst einsehen, dass ihr entbehrungsreiches Leben sie grantig macht. Es erstreckt sich über vier kleine Inseln namens Unkrauthügel, Backsteininsel, Buckel und Brandungsfels, die allesamt durch Brücken miteinander verbunden sind.

始まりの湖の湖畔にある漁村。ウィード島、ブリック島、ノット島、ラップ島という4つの島を橋で結ぶことで構成されている。しかめっ面の漁師たちが多いことから、自虐的に「不機嫌」なる奇妙な村名が付けられることとなった
