Cette immense statue de pierre a été gravée à l'effigie de Haldrath, le premier Dragon céleste. Les Ishgardais la considèrent comme le chef-d'œuvre de Percelle, la sculptrice renommée qui y a consacré les trente dernières années de sa vie. Aucune autre œuvre d'art n'a été capable de la surpasser depuis son achèvement, il y a cent cinquante ans de cela.

From high atop the western highlands of Coerthas, I looked out upon the realm in all her twisted beauty. There I saw a sight that will be sung of for as long as songs are sung.

A monumental stone sculpture carved in the likeness of Haldrath, the first Azure Dragoon. The stonemason Percelle devoted thirty of her later years chiseling the piece, and it has stood for more than 150 years since. Even today, one cannot find a more stirring tribute to one of Ishgard's founding fathers.

Von den Gipfeln des westlichen Hochlands von Coerthas blickte ich herab auf das Land, wie es dalag in seiner ganzen Schönheit. Und was ich erblickte, wird die Barden bis ans Ende aller Tage inspirieren zu Liedern und Weisen.

Dieser gewaltigen Steinskulptur, die den ersten Azur-Drachenreiter Haldrath darstellt, widmete die Steinmetzin Percelle die letzten dreißig Jahre ihres Lebens. Das monumentale Werk überblickt seit mehr als 150 Jahren die Landschaft und auch heute noch findet sich kein anderes Kunstwerk, das einen Gründer Ishgards zelebriert und auf derart aufopferungsvolle Weise erschaffen wurde.
